What did you learn from your previous job? (04/27/2008)
The software equivalent of '... no man is an island ...'. Anyone can write software, a few people can write software efficiently, and even less can do it in a team. Nobody can get everything done alone, so being able to communicate with others is paramount for success.
What are your strengths? Weaknesses? (04/27/2008)
I'm dedicated to what I do. I love writing solving puzzles, and I love making those solutions more elegant ever time. That being said, I'm not a quick learner. I'm actually a relatively slow learner to some of the folks I know. My understanding of a concept once I get it however, is usually much deeper than many of my contemporaries.
How would your co-workers describe you? (04/27/2008)
Dilligent, Direct, and Honest
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? (04/27/2008)
Working on 'the next big thing ...'
Describe your ideal work environment. (07/03/2007)
A small company that doesn't focus on HR details, just project goals and deadlines. My ideal company is a younger crowd that seeks challenges.
What do you like most about your job? (07/03/2007)
I love not having to worry about what to wear to work!
What kind of job are you looking for? (07/03/2007)
I prefer writing and developing software in a small open source shop. I love being in a small company too!
Why did you choose this career? (07/03/2007)
I love puzzles. That's what software development is really all about; being presented with a puzzle, and using the tools available to you to solve it.
